I have served as a pastor for 62 years and have collected some unusual and fascinating real-life stories, many of which featured unusual coincidences or incredible feats.

Author Earl Ferguson shares a collection of inspiring anecdotes in Coincidences: Finding God in the Ordinary and the Not So Ordinary ($16.99, paperback, 9781662871825; $30.99, dust jacket, 9781662871832; $7.99, e-book, 9781662871894).

Fact is truly better than fiction, as Ferguson proves with this volume of more than eighty incidents he has either witnessed or been told about throughout his ministry. He offers commentary on the events as he recounts them, and hopes it encourages some who are struggling to find their way back to God.

“I have served as a pastor for 62 years and have collected some unusual and fascinating real-life stories, many of which featured unusual coincidences or incredible feats. I have been strengthened spiritually by these true stories of people I have known and loved. I felt my story and theirs deserve to be shared,” said Ferguson.

Earl Ferguson holds a B.A. from Central Christian College; an M.A. in Human Relations Services and Counseling from Governor’s State University; and a Doctorate in Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary. Ferguson was the founding pastor of the Deer Creek Christian Church, where he served for over thirty-seven years, and teaching pastor of Community Christian Church. He has mentored young pastors and taught graduate level classes at Olivet Nazarene University. He and his wife Pat share three children and six grandchildren.
