New collaboration expands Worksoft business process discovery capabilities to mainframe applications, helps OpenConnect accelerate the benefits of digital labor.

“The ideal business partnership makes both entities better for it, and this one is a perfect example.” — Mark Dailey, CEO, OpenConnect

OpenConnect, a leader in enterprise software products that deliver efficiencies derived from objective workforce intelligence, analytics, and robotic process automation, announced today a partnership with Worksoft®, a leading global provider of automation software for high-velocity business process discovery and testing. The partnership will bring customers enhanced business process discovery capabilities to increase business process understanding, drive process improvement, and mitigate risk.

By adding Worksoft Analyze® functionality, OpenConnect helps customer accelerate business process discovery and understanding. Business users can take data gathered from WorkiQ®, OpenConnect’s desktop analytics product, and automatically discover, visualize, and document actual business processes. The partnership also benefits OpenConnect’s robotic process automation (RPA) offering, AutoiQ™, which achieves interconnectivity with both desktop computing environments and the mission-critical mainframes used by most large enterprises. By coupling WorkiQ task discovery with Worksoft Analyze business process discovery capabilities, end users have more information and data with which to help prioritize tasks and build a successful process automation strategy.

Worksoft Analyze automates the time-consuming process of documenting and maintaining business process knowledge, generates visualization and detailed business process documentation, and organizes information in a systematic, visual way to make analysis as simple as possible.

WorkiQ compiles a complete, real-time timeline of worker activity to provide invaluable operational intelligence, enabling organizations to go beyond system statistics and self-reporting so they can achieve real improvements and real-world savings. AutoiQ provides robotic process automation that is totally server-based for maximum speed and accuracy, and also works with desktop-based automation products to allow more centralized and efficient control of each organization’s automation workflow.

“Worksoft is pleased to align with OpenConnect, the market leader in process intelligence and desktop analytics solutions,” said Greg Hammond, Vice President of Analytics at Worksoft and Business Unit Leader for Worksoft Analyze. “By helping customers quickly discover historical ‘as-is’ processes in applications, even those that are mainframe-based, and identify the most commonly executed business processes critical to the enterprise, Worksoft is helping lead organizations on a path of continuous transformation.”

“The ideal business partnership makes both entities better for it, and this one is a perfect example,” said Mark Dailey, OpenConnect’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our data collection expertise will combine with Worksoft’s process analysis prowess to give both companies’ enterprise customers many more options for improving their management capabilities.”
