Opendock Partners with Dock411 To Provide Warehouse Facility Reviews
Opendock, a centralized shipping dock scheduling platform, announces partnership with Dock411, a warehouse information and reviews application, giving Opendock users direct access to essential warehouse data.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Opendock, a centralized shipping dock scheduling platform, today announced a partnership with Dock411. Dock411 is a warehouse information and reviews application. Through their integration, Opendock users will now have direct access to Dock411's warehouse data.
Opendock's booking portal is used by over 25,000 carriers and brokers to book dock appointments with warehouses. Over half a million appointments are booked monthly through the system.
Dock411 operates much like Yelp. It allows warehouses to "claim" their profiles and keep them updated with relevant information. Warehouses can provide helpful data such as where to park, how to check in, directions, on-site amenities, and more. This provides important information to the truck drivers who are delivering to or picking up from warehouses.
Opendock CEO, Bob La Loggia, stated, "We are so excited about this partnership with Dock411. Their application is top-notch and the data they provide to carriers is invaluable."
Accessing Dock411 data through Opendock is simple. Once carriers and brokers go through a brief registration process on Opendock, then can then search for the warehouse with which they'd like to book. When they find the warehouse, they simply click on the information icon to see Dock411 data for that warehouse.
Eric Weidl, Dock411's founder and CEO, noted, "Partnering with Opendock was a no-brainer. Their centralized booking platform dominates the industry. And with our extensive database of warehouses and reviews, it's the perfect marriage."
The companies plan to continue expanding their relationship, including proceeding with co-marketing and co-branding initiatives.
Opendock is based in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is utilized daily by every major freight carrier and broker, including C.H. Robinson, Schneider, JB Hunt, Werner and others. Additionally, thousands of warehouses use the system for managing their dock availability. Warehouses range from small operations to 3PLs to some of the largest shippers in the world, such as International Paper, Cargill, Owen & Minor, Pepsi, ADM and Unilever.
