Operation Warp Speed is a remarkable partnership between government and private industry to vaccinate 300 million Americans against COVID-19 by spring 2021. Multiple vaccines, developed in record time, may be on the cusp of approval in the U.S. Once approved, an extraordinary logistical undertaking will be required to ensure that the vaccine is delivered to every American in every U.S. state and territory.
"This is quite possibly the most important program of our lifetime. The whole world is watching and depending on the success of this logistics' rubix cube," says Kelley DeConciliis, chairman of the ISOA Board of Directors. "During this event, we will have a front row seat to better understand the mindset of and pressure bearing down on our leaders at this extraordinary time."
This event is the first in a series of fireside chats, entitled "Extraordinary Among the Ordinary," and hosted by ISOA. You can learn more and register to attend by visiting the ISOA website.
"Our ISOA members operate overseas in high-risk and unstable environments every day to support the missions of our U.S. government and partners. The lessons we can learn from Operation Warp Speed will be invaluable," says Howie Lind, executive director and president of ISOA."
