OptConnect, a leader in the managed wireless connectivity industry, today announced that they have appointed Steve Garrett as Chief Product Officer. Garrett is the former Director of Sales Engineering and has been instrumental in all product-related strategy and execution since joining the team in 2012.
In his new role, Garrett will own the entire strategic development for all OptConnect products. He will have full autonomy to adjust and optimize both new and existing products to best serve the overall company vision.

Before joining OptConnect in 2012, Garrett was the CIO at Navigator Communications. In his career, he has held CIO positions in both Healthcare and Telecom. With over 40 years of experience in the technology industry, Garrett brings an extensive knowledge of product technology and sales to OptConnect.

Additionally, OptConnect is expanding its sales team and has recently hired Sean Horan as Senior Enterprise Sales Director. Horan has more than 14 years of M2M/IoT sales, business development, and product management experience. Before joining OptConnect, he was Sales Director at Sigfox where he oversaw IoT Solution Sales in North America across multiple IoT verticals.
