“The scholarships awarded will honor Derick and his family, while helping students reach their goals and go on to positively impact others, just as Derick inspired the community around him,” Harry Langenberg, Managing Partner, Optima Tax Relief
SANTA ANA, Calif. (PRWEB) February 04, 2020
Optima Tax Relief is proud to announce the expansion of its community-giving with the launch of the Derick Ordinario Scholarship Program. Named in honor of Mr. Ordinario, a beloved member of Optima’s extended family, the scholarship will provide financial assistance to high school and college students.
“Derick lived a life committed to providing love, support, and opportunities for others,” said David King, CEO of Optima Tax Relief. “In establishing this scholarship, we aim to help carry his positive impact forward.”
Company employees can refer their family members, as well as people they know within the community at-large, to the program, with the initial round of scholarships being awarded this June. Interested students can submit their applications now through February 27th.
To be eligible, students need to be attending high school or college full time and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Additional information and application forms are available at optimataxrelief.com/about-us/scholarship.
“We are very honored to be dedicating our scholarship program to Derick,” said Harry Langenberg, Optima’s Managing Partner. “The scholarships awarded will honor Derick and his family, while helping students reach their goals and go on to positively impact others, just as Derick inspired the community around him.”
