"Frank’s hire was the next logical step as we continue our work to provide significant competitive advantages to organizations through their use of technology."

Optimal Networks, a globally ranked IT services company known for taking a business-focused approach to technology challenges, announces the addition of Frank Schipani to the team as a Senior Consultant as of July 6, 2020. In this role, Schipani will advise the organization’s clients on IT strategies to drive revenue and retention. Schipani’s hiring is part of Optimal Networks’ ongoing efforts to continually enhance their provision of strategic IT services to law firms throughout the region.

Schipani has long shared Optimal Networks’ commitment to developing and implementing IT strategies to drive business goals. For almost two decades, he built an unparalleled reputation as an in-house IT technology and administration expert for law firms in the DC area. Throughout his in-house career, he often partnered with Optimal Networks to collaborate and implement innovative IT solutions. As a leader, Schipani has successfully guided firms through cloud migrations, software selection and implementation projects, disaster recovery planning, compliance initiatives, global office expansions, and building support teams that work in strategic alignment with the firm’s business goals.

“Frank is one of the brightest and most well-respected technology experts and leaders within the DC law firm community,” Optimal Networks’ CEO Heinan Landa says. “Frank’s hire was the next logical step as we continue our work to provide significant competitive advantages to organizations through their use of technology. We are honored that he sought to join us, and thrilled to provide such an invaluable resource to our clients.”

The addition of Schipani’s experience and expertise will further the momentum the company has built within the law firm technology space. Landa’s Amazon best-selling book, The Modern Law Firm: How to thrive in an era of rapid technological change, was published in April 2020 and provides a framework for law firms to advance their technology maturity, delight their clients, and thrive in a hyper-competitive marketplace. In partnership with the American Bar Association and the Association for Legal Administrators, the Optimal Networks team has recently produced webinars on salient topics including collaboration software, maintaining security in a remote work environment, how to enhance corporate culture while distanced, and others. A complete list (along with future offerings) can be found here.

“After years of working internally in law firms as an IT and operations executive, I repeatedly hired and consistently admired the Optimal Networks team,” said Schipani. “I have experienced Optimal’s white-glove client service firsthand for over ten years, and their values of integrity, service, and fun align with mine. I’m excited to begin helping current and future clients exceed their goals while improving their productivity, security, reputation, recruitment, and retention using technology.”

As someone who has been “on the inside” and intimately involved with industry groups like the Association of Legal Administrators and International Legal Technology Association, Schipani knows what works and what doesn’t for law firms of all sizes. The addition of this depth and breadth of knowledge catapults Optimal Networks’ standing as a leader among IT providers innovating to better serve law firms.
