SparkLabs Cultiv8 Launches Inaugural CleanTech Accelerator
ORANGE, Australia, March 22, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Leading Agri-Food Tech Accelerator, SparkLabs Cultiv8, has announced the launch of its first Clean Technology program. Located in Orange NSW, the CleanTech Accelerator has opened applications to select the next wave of innovative start-ups who are passionate about improving environmental sustainability throughout the agriculture and food value chain.
The CleanTech Accelerator will invest in a wide range of technology and hardware thematics, including natural capital, biodiversity, climate adaptability, AI, automation, robotics, and circularity. The program assists founders to commercialise has been developed to ensure that entrepreneurs have a strong alignment to the challenge, and their business execution is grounded in practicality.

Qualifying start-ups will receive a range of benefits, including:
- Up to $100,000 worth of investment
- Access to a world-class network of mentors and industry advisors
- Bespoke masterclasses, training, workshops, tours, and events
- Co-working office space at The Global AgTech Ecosystem (GATE) among leading scientists
- Introductions to top-tier venture capitalists, angel investors, and entrepreneurial executives.
Selected companies will typically be at pre-seed or seed-stage and have a working prototype or proof of concept. The Accelerator program will provide 6-months of programming and will culminate in a regional Demo Day, held in Orange NSW, providing entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business to investors and future customers.
The Accelerator program will leverage SparkLabs Cultiv8's extensive network of scientists, investors, entrepreneurs, industry organisations, and producers, to serve as mentors and subject matter experts to the selected companies. The program will also have support from major organisations including SparkLabs Group, NSW Department of Primary Industries, Cultiv8 Funds Management, and some of Australia's leading agricultural research and development corporations, who will collaborate to help remove the obstacles of commercialisation and pave a clean path to market.
The SparkLabs Cultiv8 is an accelerator grounded in success having supported nearly 40 domestic and global companies which have raised over $500 million in private capital and created more than 600 jobs.
The CleanTech Accelerator is now accepting applications for the inaugural program, commencing on the 29th of May 2023. Up to ten companies will be selected to participate. Applications can be submitted via the SparkLabs Cultiv8 website (http://www.sparklabscultiv8.com).
