Orchard's Second Annual "Do Good Challenge" Goes Global, Attracting Over 600 Participants

ATLANTA, Oct. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Last week on October 10, Orchard, a non-profit organization, launched its second annual Do Good Challenge where over 600 people of all ages from all across the globe participated in random acts of kindness for 12 hours, with nearly 2000 challenges completed. The free scavenger hunt-like event was set in motion to help bring people together during these trying times in hope to spread more love and unity than division.

Three winners were hand selected based off of the number of challenges completed in the 12-hour time span. The winning teams were: 3 Musketeers from (Atlanta, GA) coming in first place, F9 a solo participant out of (Alpharetta, GA) came in second, and a team of 2 called The Swifties from (Roswell, GA) were named third place.

"This was our first year to do this challenge outside of Atlanta, we had no idea we would go global! Our goal with this initiative was to strip away our differences and remind each other what matters most, loving and caring for each other, and the feedback shows us, that message was received. Participants of the challenge could sign up as individuals or as a team comprised of friends, families, small groups, colleagues, etc. However, instead of finding "things," people completed random acts of kindness and other mini-challenges that do good. Some categories included: be kind, get active, and go green. With more than 100 mini-challenges available, people of all ages and all locations played for a variety of prizes.
