Ordoro's new Goods Receipt barcode printing feature lets teams generate product labels directly from received inventory, keeping receiving and labeling in one connected workflow.
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ordoro, a leading provider of shipping and inventory management software for eCommerce businesses, has introduced Goods Receipt barcode printing, giving inventory teams a way to generate product barcode labels directly from the Goods Receipt section of a Purchase Order.
When inventory arrives, receiving it is only part of the process. Products may also need to be labeled before they can be stocked, organized, or moved to the next step. With Goods Receipt barcode printing, teams can record what arrived and then generate the labels they need from the same receiving workflow.
"Receiving inventory involves more than updating a quantity," said Jagath Narayan, CEO and co-founder of Ordoro. "For businesses that use barcode labels, there is often another step before those products are ready to move into stock. Bringing barcode printing into the Goods Receipt workflow helps connect those steps and keep inventory moving."
Users can print barcode labels in two ways:
- Print barcodes for an entire Goods Receipt. Users can generate labels for all products received as part of the Goods Receipt. Products with a received quantity of zero are excluded.
- Print barcodes for individual products. Users can generate labels for a single received product line when labels are not needed for the entire receipt.
- Generate labels based on received quantities. The number of labels generated is based on the quantity received for each SKU and the number of copies selected in the barcode label modal.
By bringing barcode printing into Goods Receipts, Ordoro gives teams that use Purchase Orders and barcode labels a more connected way to handle receiving. Instead of treating receiving and labeling as separate parts of the process, teams can move directly from recording incoming inventory to generating labels for the products they received. Receive it. Label it. Keep it moving.
