Ordway platform achieves SOC 2

“Keeping our customers’ data safe and secure is our highest priority,” said Dax Abraham, CTO at Ordway

Ordway, the next-generation billing and revenue automation platform for scaling companies, today announced that it has completed its SOC 2 audit. This attestation provides evidence that Ordway has a strong commitment to deliver enterprise-quality software to its clients by demonstrating the necessary internal controls and processes.

Ordway’s platform is the first truly integrated software to manage ever-changing order-to-revenue needs for businesses across the globe. The platform bridges the gap between the CRM and general ledger. In doing so, it offers operational flexibility in between, where legacy systems fall flat. The system automates activating subscriptions and contracts, invoicing, collecting payments, generating revenue schedules, and producing insights to protect and grow a business — all without bolt-on modules, costly consultants, or administrators.

The SOC 2 attestation report achieved by Ordway was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SOC 2 is widely recognized as a gold standard for data security and requires companies to establish and follow strict information security policies and procedures. Through the SOC 2 report, Aprio, LLP, a nationally recognized, CPA-led business advisory firm, has validated the design of Ordway’s controls as per AICPA criteria relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity. Ordway has demonstrated the commitment to data security through practices and procedures it follows for protecting against unauthorized access, maintaining the availability of its service, and ensuring error-free order-to-revenue automations for its customers.

“Keeping our customers’ data safe and secure is our highest priority,” said Dax Abraham, CTO at Ordway. “Our aim is to provide an end-to-end platform that is trusted to automate order-to-revenue operations, and our recent certification shows our ongoing commitment to protect our systems and customers' data.”

“We are excited to continue our audit relationship with Ordway as they complete their 2020 SOC 2 audit,” said Dan Schroeder, Partner-in-Charge, Information Assurance Services at Aprio. “The Ordway team has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement in their information system related controls; taking their responsibility for maintaining a well-controlled and secured environment seriously.”
