LOS ANGELES, July 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Origamei allows women to live life "On-The-Go (OTG)," without hassle, and while still looking fabulous. The versatile and uniquely innovative dress line uses lightweight material that folds easily and compactly into different styles while remaining completely wrinkle-free. Today, Origamei creator and designer, Angela Wang will launch her debut product line, the Origamei Dress Collection, with the goal of raising $10,000 in 35 days.
Each dress in the Origamei line has carefully-placed, patent-pending seams that make it easy to fold into a stylish clutch and seamlessly carries anything from jewelry to credit cards and IDs. The clutch then unfolds into a loose-fitting dress that is available in three different styles and color options that are designed to fit flawlessly on most body types. The dress is made out of a performance fabric, which helps keep it completely wrinkle-resistant, durable, and lightweight. The dress also has deep hand pockets designed to fit any sized smartphone! Origamei's "grab-and-go" concept and compact size takes the stress out of packing by fitting discreetly inside a work bag, gym bag, small carry-on, backpack, or even the glove compartment of a car.
"The idea of Origamei started when I was practically living out of my car during my long commutes to and from work during rush hour traffic," said Founder, Angela Wang. "With time to kill, I started a gym membership to strategically wait out traffic. I began prepping my daywear and gym clothes while compartmentalizing them in a nifty drawer system that I set up in the trunk of my car. I slowly became obsessed with the idea of on-the-go fashion, and the concept of Origamei started to develop in my head."
Origamei kicked off New Years 2018 with a 100-day charity campaign where Wang wore one Origamei KIKU (name of her first dress launch into the market) dress for 100 days in an effort to raise money for charity. She chose to connect with No Means No Worldwide, an organization aimed at ending sexual assault. Wang was initially inspired by The Uniform Project, during which a young woman pledged to wear a little black dress for 365 days as an exercise in sustainable fashion. The Uniform Project directly aligned with Origamei's goals to empower women to achieve greater things.
Origamei is currently available to pre-order on Kickstarter, starting at $48 (40% off retail) for a limited time, at http://pr.go2.fund/origamei.
