With the go-live of Breg’s new e-commerce cloud platform based on Intershop, Breg digitalizes and improves the user experience for customers and employees with an innovative, state-of-the-art customer portal. Intershop was selected as the desired platform partner due to its extensive, rapidly available B2B functionalities as well as the flexibility and customizability of the platform.

The new online store enables Breg to process orders transparently and with maximum efficiency. Now training documents and product usage instructions are easily accessible and available 24/7. DSS Partners’ Intershop Accelerator Store (DIAS) also enables Breg to provide their key customers with their own sales portal featuring individual branding and simplified billing. After logging in via single sign-on (SSO), sales reps and customers can process multiple orders quickly, and easily switch between different locations using a dropdown menu to see client-specific information. By implementing an additional invoice management portal based on DIAS, billing information can quickly be retrieved from Breg’s ERP to compile all important information in a central customer view. The loosely coupled, real-time integration of the Intershop Commerce Platform with Breg’s ERP provides customers and staff with real-time inventory information such as availability and prices, simplifying the management and maintenance of product details. Breg provides their customers a bulk ordering feature so they can quickly purchase multiple variants of the same product. As a manufacturer of orthopedic products, it’s critical for Breg to provide its customers with the highest standards and deliver its premium products as quickly and efficiently as possible, allowing patients to begin their healing.
