Orthopedic ONE Expands Marketing Department
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Orthopedic ONE is pleased to expand its marketing department to include a director of marketing and two marketing managers. The team will lead all marketing and communications on behalf of the entire practice. With 54 orthopedic physicians, 100-plus physical and occupational therapists and a team of more than 500 associates across ten locations, Orthopedic ONE is the largest physician-owned orthopedic practice in Ohio. The practice is the result of an October 1, 2013, merger between Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence and The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute.
Marketing Director – Darcy Blessing
Darcy Blessing, recently named Orthopedic ONE’s director of marketing, previously held the same position with the Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence for nine years. She has a combined 18 years experience in healthcare, including experience as a certified athletic trainer and business office manager with Sports Medicine Grant and Orthopaedic Associates, and as a pharmaceutical sales manager with several prominent companies in central Ohio and Florida.
In her current role, Blessing is responsible for all marketing activity on behalf of the practice, and overseeing the marketing department and all its resources.
Blessing resides in Westerville with her husband and two children. She enjoys writing, gardening, traveling and involvement with her church.
Community and Sports Relations Manager – Karly Elliott
Karly Elliott joins the practice as community and sports relations manager, responsible for managing and developing Orthopedic ONE’s community outreach relationships, programs and activities.
Elliott has worked in the central Ohio healthcare community since 2004. Her career began at New Albany Surgical Hospital (what is now Mount Carmel New Albany), where she served as executive assistant to the CEO and later special events director to the hospital’s foundation. Following its acquisition by Mount Carmel Health System, she was named administrative projects specialist. Before joining Orthopedic ONE, Elliott served as director of communications and physician relations at OrthoNeuro and then marketing manager at Amerisource Bergen.
Elliott is a proud resident of Westerville. She and her husband enjoy skiing in the winter, biking and being on the water in summer months, and spending time with friends and family in between.

Phillip Schultz joins Orthopedic ONE as physician relations manager, responsible for maintaining and developing physician referral relationships within the region.
Before joining Orthopedic ONE, Schultz was admissions and marketing director at HCR Manorcare’s Heartland of Centerburg.
