Zingaretti brings experience in the medical and foodservice robotics sectors to scale up OSARO's business processes and deployment
SAN FRANCISCO , Sept. 14, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- OSARO™, a global leader in AI-driven robotics for e-commerce, has appointed Gabe Zingaretti as chief operating officer. In this newly created role, Zingaretti will oversee engineering, product, and operations as the company moves to accelerate the delivery of its piece-picking robotics to the rapidly growing e-commerce fulfillment industry.

Before joining OSARO, Zingaretti worked for Restoration Robotics, a medical robotics company that went public, and Dishcraft Robotics, a company that uses robotics to deliver clean dishware to foodservice operators, among other career stops. He began his career at R2 Technology as a staff scientist and was a software architect at Thermofisher Scientific before joining Restoration Robotics.
Zingaretti was born and raised in Rome, Italy, where he earned his doctorate in biomedical engineering at La Sapienza Università di Roma. He came to the U.S. as a research scientist and postdoctoral scholar at Columbia University in New York.
