BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Sept. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- OWNZONES Entertainment Technologies, provider of the first cloud-native content supply chain platform, will present its recent innovations in AI at this year's IBC2019, the leading global trade show for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of broadcasting media and entertainment. In partnership with Amazon Web Services, OWNZONES will showcase its suite of solutions to industry leaders at the Amsterdam-based event from September 13 through September 17.
OWNZONES' CEO Dan Goman and CPO Nick Nelson will host live demos of their cloud-native video supply chain platform, Connect, and their customized white-label app solution, Discover. For the first time at IBC2019, the team will also demonstrate its AI-driven tool, FrameDNA, which analyzes video files frame-by-frame and identifies structural similarities and differences, enabling companies to consolidate their content libraries.
"FrameDNA is a crucial tool for studios and content creators who want to optimize their international operations," said Goman. "Using the tool, our customers can drastically reduce the amount of content they have to store on their on-premise system or in the cloud, cutting costs while also streamlining content distribution. With the power of AI and the automation of our market-leading IMF capabilities, FrameDNA users can supercharge their product stack to manage and deliver content efficiently and securely."
In addition to providing demos throughout the conference, OWNZONES' CTO Aaron Sloman will join a group of panelists assembled by the IMF User Group for 'IMF 101,' an overview of IMF and its ability to enable cloud-based workflows for production, media encoding and delivery. Sloman will walk attendees through a series of tutorials showcasing IMF's ability to create multiple versions by leveraging componentization. The panel will take place September 14 at 12:30 p.m. CEST in the Emerald Room of the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center.
"IMF is not just growing in popularity, it's becoming the standard across production houses and content creators," said Sloman. "With IMF, users can swap localized metadata for the same title and deliver it to several endpoints, a huge benefit for streaming and OTT platforms that are creating quick content to compete with the overflowing market. It's critical for industry leaders to adopt IMF technology, and I'm thrilled to share my expertise through OWNZONES' solutions."
OWNZONES will also co-sponsor an IMF Breakfast Briefing for members of the DPP, set to take place at 8 a.m. CEST on September 13 at SoHo House Amsterdam. The briefing will offer practical advice and real-world implementations for organizations interested in adopting IMF or developing tools that support the SMPTE TSP 2121 specification.
In addition, OWNZONES, alongside five other vendors, will participate in the DPP's IMF Tour, which will demonstrate an IMF workflow using products that support TSP 2121-1.
