P6R Collaborates with Marvell to Streamline and Simplify Crypto Key Storage Management
P6R Inc. today announced that its Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) Server Gateway (KSG) can be bundled with the Marvell® LiquidSecurity® Network Hardware Security Module (HSM) portfolio. This collaboration enables multiple applications requiring OASIS, the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards, KMIP protocol to seamlessly interface with the Marvell offering.
SANTA CRUZ, Calif., March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- P6R Inc. today announced that its Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) Server Gateway (KSG) can be bundled with the Marvell® LiquidSecurity® Network Hardware Security Module (HSM) portfolio. This collaboration enables multiple applications requiring OASIS, the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards, KMIP protocol to seamlessly interface with the Marvell offering.
Today, KMIP is the protocol of choice for multiple applications in cloud environments. P6R's KSG is a special purpose KMIP server application that sits in front of the LiquidSecurity Network HSM, translating OASIS KMIP protocol requests to Public-Key Cryptography Standards (PKCS) #11. KSG enables the LiquidSecurity Network HSM to be used with KMIP enabled applications, providing greater interoperability, simplicity and an improved secure process.
P6R, in addition to KSG, recently added support for AWS CloudHSM enabled by Marvell LiquidSecurity Network HSMs to their PKCS #11 library. The integrated solution, leveraging Marvell LiquidSecurity Network HSMs for public cloud, is now available for the private cloud environment as well.
