Constructed from stainless steel, this roll handling solution is suitable for clean room high care environments such as those found in the food, drinks, pharmaceutical and medical industries.
The compact vertical spindle attachment design enables the operator to manoeuvre and turn the lifter in tight spaces.
The narrow, low profile lifter frame legs and wheels are designed for easy and close access to the packaging machine. In addition, the bespoke frame legs pass under pallets to gain access to rolls across the pallet.
The lifter features a taller frame to reach a high feed position on the packaging machine. The frame has been extended from the standard height of 2m / 79.7" to 2.5m / 98.4" to reach the high load point mandrel.
The vertical spindle attachment features electric lift and lower with manual rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations. A handwheel provides the roll gripping and release action.
The rolls are securely gripped by the core. This mechanism has a torque limiter fitted so that the clamping fingers do not over or under tighten in the core. This enables the operator to lift the rolls with complete confidence and safety.
The attachment has been designed to provide a high load capacity with great strength and durability as well as improved wear resistance providing an enhanced ease of use with a simple and safe action.
This attachment is manufactured from stainless steel and anodised aluminium which makes it entirely suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries and other hygienic applications.
Furthermore, it is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most reels.
The attachments enhanced design features include a greater load capacity, improved strength and durability which provides an easy and safe operation. It is entirely suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of Compac lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
This attachment is also available with powered roll rotation.
The lift capacity is 125kg / 275lbs, however, larger capacities and to suit greater roll widths, are available on request.
