Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) August 09, 2017 -- Brad Schmett, of Brad Schmett Real Estate Group and Keller Williams Realty, today announced that the Thursday Evening VillageFest held every week in Downtown Palm Springs is a huge attraction for home shoppers on the West End of the Valley who enjoy the gourmet quality and one-of-a-kind handcrafted items that are not available any place else. Held every Thursday night from 7 to 10PM, trendy Palm Canyon is blocked off to accommodate shoppers in the downtown area.
The festive pedestrian street faire is one of the highlights of life in Palm Springs. Dozens of vendors with everything from local homemade tamales, freshly grown produce, gourmet quality olive oil, handmade soaps, and a wide variety of handcrafted and unique art and craft items are all available at the open-air market. Set up under charming white tents along Palm Canyon Boulevard, vendors cater to the most elite shoppers on a true Palm Springs scale.
Schmett commented on the fair, “I have to admit we are spoiled here in the Coachella Valley. After all, we have the finest in shopping and cuisine at our fingertips. Our fabulous VillageFest is no ordinary farmer’s market as anyone who visits finds out with one glance! Even though fresh produce is part of the offerings, you will also find local artisans with handcrafted jewelry, designer quality resort clothing, and a huge array of ethnic foods. There is always live entertainment and a festive atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re part of a major celebration. It just doesn’t get any better than California desert life.”
From now into the fall is the perfect time to get a jump on holiday shopping as the street fair always features original items that are difficult to find. You are sure to find the perfect gift even for your hardest to buy for friends and family.
