PalPilot Acquires IATF16949 Automotive Certification Promising Superior Magnetic Products Performance
PalPilot announced today its achievement of the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949:2016 certification, strategically establishing itself in the automotive sector amid the industry's rapidly growing manufacturing demands. TUSTIN, Calif., August 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PalPilot is happy to announce that its magnetics manufacturing facility in Taiwan has achieved the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949:2016 certification; applicable to the designing and manufacturing of coils for transformers. This achievement establishes Palpilot as an automotive leader within the manufacturing industry.
The Quality Management Systems (QMS) at the facility was assessed and registered by NQA, Warwick House, Houghton Hall Park, Houghton Regis, Dunstable LU5 5ZX, Bedfordshire England under the provisions of (IATF) 16949:2016.
This certification is an important accomplishment for this manufacturing facility as it indicates the successful implementation of a QMS that delivers continual improvement, underlines defect prevention, contains specific requirements for the automotive industry, and promotes reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.
This registration is subject to the company maintaining a quality management system to the above standard which will be monitored by NQA.
The IATF 16949:2016 was launched in October 2016 to supersede and replace ISO/TS 16949 and it represents an evolution for quality management in the automotive industry.
