Parchment Launches Affiliate Partner Program
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- Parchment, the leading academic credentials management system, is committed to enabling more learners, in more places, to turn their credentials into opportunities. To reach these learners, Parchment today announced a program to securely accept a learner’s credential order from Affiliate Partners. The Parchment Affiliate Partner Program provides the ability to include academic credential ordering as a feature of an Affiliate Partner’s technology suite. The Affiliate program will create additional opportunities for learners to order their academic credential from Parchment’s network of secondary school members, providing greater access to a school’s services while maintaining the school’s established polices and workflows.
Affiliate Partners will leverage Parchment’s institutional member network and the Parchment.com ordering experience to provide credential ordering as an embedded feature within their websites, or via web-based applications with fulfillment through Parchment’s credential system. Learners using an Affiliate’s application will be able to order their academic credential from within the tools they’re using to manage their education path. Prior to launch, individual market leaders including Graduation Alliance, Kuder and Shmoop recognized the value of empowering learners and have engaged with Parchment as first-mover affiliates.
Today, Parchment affiliates will be able to connect only within the U.S. secondary school market, helping high school learners on their path to higher education.
“Students are the primary beneficiaries of our partnership with Parchment, as it will empower them to take the next actionable steps in their education and career planning process,” said Marie Demego, Senior Vice President of Product Management with Graduation Alliance. “The ability to send transcripts easily through a proven partner with such an enormous reach furthers our commitment to increasing flexibility in today's education system. We’re elated to collaborate with a company that shares our values.”
Parchment, an education technology company based in Scottsdale, Ariz., has built a network connecting millions of students to thousands of educational institutions, associations and employers who rely on academic credentials. To date, Parchment has empowered learners by safely and securely facilitating the exchange of more than 20 million credentials. In the trailing 12 months, more than 2.2 million new learners registered with Parchment services.
“Enabling the exchange of credentials for high stake transactions on systems that naturally connect students to opportunities is a natural fit for Parchment,” explained Christopher W. Sheppard, Vice President of Business Development with Parchment. “The Parchment Affiliate Program allows us to extend our trusted credential management system beyond our front door. Learners rely on other services to assist them in their pursuit of higher education, and we are happy to develop relationships with these groups to help empower more learners.”
Last month, Parchment introduced Parchment 7, the most advanced academic credential management system with new functionalities. Users can enjoy a simplified, modern interface and the ability for multi-credential ordering, and learners can display their credentials on their LinkedIn and Facebook pages.
Today, the Parchment network reaches more than 22 percent of the secondary enrollments and 14 percent of the postsecondary enrollments in the United States. Institutions like American Public University, Temple University, University of California, San Diego and thousands more rely on Parchment to improve operational efficiencies, reduce cost and most importantly, empower learners.
