Parents, Teachers Given New Resources for Teaching Children
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- Resources for teaching can be scarce at times, especially when it comes to teaching thirty or more young students. Teachers can spend hours outside of class working on templates for students to complete, which can lead to quickly burning out. The need for proper and easy to acquire teaching tools is essential for good education.
As the need for quality education tools has grown, MyExcelTemplates has introduced new templates and tools for educators and parents for 2015. Template functions range from children just learning to write, to those who are actively penning essays and solving large math problems.
“Teachers and parents spend so many hours just interacting with and teaching children, there shouldn’t be such a great need to spend even more time developing templates and tools,” said MyExcelTemplates spokesperson Ben Davidson. “We knew there needed to be more accessible resources to save time and still give children a quality education.”
The educational templates, which are all accessible with no sign-up and at no charge, are printable and able to be used in Excel or Word. Teachers can use them for their own personal responsibilities, such as the grade tracker and average calculator, or as guides for students such as the essay test template.
“Parents can especially utilize these templates at home with their children,” said Davidson. “We have multiple Excel and Word sheets that can be printed and done with the child at home as a way to practice what they’re learning in school. It helps involve the parents while not losing time creating their own resources.”
In addition to classroom resources, MyExcelTemplates also offers academic calendars, higher-education budgeting tools, and even an Excel spreadsheet program to track library book checkouts. Each template is accompanied by a guide filled with ways to navigate, customize, and get the most out of each resource. Whether you homeschool your child, or are a teacher in a classroom, each template can be altered to fit your student’s needs.
“It’s definitely a step forward for saving teachers and parent’s time while maintaining quality,” said Davidson. “Our goal with these additions is to make an educator’s job easier and therefore, help children learn more efficiently with proper tools.”
