ParentSquare Acquires Signal Kit, Expanding Reach to 2 Million Students Nationwide
The fast-growing parent engagement platform has acquired mass notification services provider Signal Kit, the company powering communications offerings of SIS providers Aeries and Aequitas Solutions.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ParentSquare Inc., today announced the acquisition of Signal Kit LLC, in a cash and equity deal. Both are providers of school-home communication tools for K12 schools and districts.
Combined, the two companies will serve more than 2 million students nationwide, across 44 states, including close to 20% of all students in California.
Both Aeries and Aequitas Q student information systems (SIS) will partner with ParentSquare to provide the same integrated experience as has been provided by Signal Kit, and build other integrations that allow them to offer additional features from the ParentSquare platform. School districts using Signal Kit will experience no disruption and will continue to use the platform as usual.
