Partnerships are a Key to Success for Electronics Made in America
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- Electronics manufacturing is making a comeback in the US via the right partnerships. PartnerTech and NanoLumens are demonstrating the power of team with their latest project, 229” LED displays for the International Exposition Center located in Cleveland, Ohio. When ‘Made in America’, the right partnership makes all the difference.
There are many factors contributing to the increase of electronic manufacturing in the US including shipping cost, loss of productivity, inventory control and the need for quick entry into the market. Advantages in these areas all translate to greater cost control and better service to customers. The cost of shipping from overseas has risen greatly over the last several years. Productivity has declined in many countries in comparison to the US while wages in those countries are rising. Manufacturers are able to provide better service to their customers with inventory control and delivery solutions that are available by manufacturing products in the US that also will be sold in the US.
As time-to-market is one of the key drivers in the resurgence of electronics manufacturing in the US, maintaining that advantage often takes specialized resources that provide scalability, flexibility, and engineering expertise. The ability to provide products to customers expeditiously gives manufacturers a competitive advantage. This being one of the primary reasons for the partnership between NanoLumens and PartnerTech.
“NanoLumens has experienced exponential growth in large format LED display solutions. As we anticipated this acceleration in the market, we selected PartnerTech as a collaborative extension of our manufacturing process for their ability to scale production with growing demand and flexibility allowing greater cost control and support for delivery to our customers” says, NanoLumens CEO, Richard Cope.
NanoLumens first engaged PartnerTech in 2011 to provide help with the production of their first-in-class indoor LED video displays. PartnerTech offers support through manufacturing engineering and assembly resources to help industrialize the products and manage the volume demands by working at both PartnerTech and NanoLumens sites. Together they have already completed projects for NBA basketball arenas, international train stations, flagship retail outlets, convention centers and more.
The future is promising for the partnership as NanoLumens expands operations and brings on even larger scale and complex orders such as the giant LED video displays being produced for the International Exposition Center. This project involves delivering multiple 7 foot diameter cylindrical and 229” diagonal flat screen displays.
“PartnerTech provides the speed-to-market requirements NanoLumens needs to serve their customers through scalability of resources and management of the production space. When multiple customer demands occur, PartnerTech is available to help NanoLumens deliver excellence to their customers. They can count on us to be on-site and start new projects quickly” says, Gary Bruce, Managing Director, PartnerTech Atlanta.
As with NanoLumens production of unique LED video displays, Made in America is elevated to a new level with key partnerships. PartnerTech is able to provide NanoLumens the flexibility and resources needed to keep up with demand and better control over cost and service delivery to their customers.
