The story follows pathologist and crime investigator Toni Day, M.D. as she finds herself accused of the murder of new surgeon, Sally Shore, M.D. in her hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho.

After Shore joins the hospital staff and takes an immediate dislike to Toni, she is found dead in Toni’s office. Being the prime suspect, Toni is forced to solve the crime on her own to save her freedom and her life.
