CANTON, Ohio, Dec. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Patriot Software, LLC, an accounting software and payroll company, has released a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Forgiveness Report to help simplify the complex and daunting process of applying for PPP loan forgiveness.
Patriot's Basic and Full Service Payroll customers who took out forgivable PPP loans can use the PPP Forgiveness Report to help them fill out their forgiveness applications with their lenders.
To run the report, customers just need to provide a few details about their PPP loan in the software. Patriot's PPP Forgiveness Report then downloads as a PDF, giving customers the payroll cost amounts needed to fill out portions of Schedule A on the forgiveness application.

Unfortunately, filling out the forgiveness application can be time consuming and confusing," said Nigel Nabuurs, Product Manager. Borrowers can also submit the report to their lender as part of the forgiveness application's supporting documentation."
Patriot's PPP Forgiveness Report isn't the only way the company has helped customers navigate through the intricacies of COVID-19 emergency relief.
At the onset of the Paycheck Protection Program, Patriot was quick to give payroll customers clear-cut instructions on pulling payroll data in the software for the initial PPP loan application. Further, Patriot made it easy for Full Service customers to defer employer and employee Social Security taxes, provide paid leave to employees under the FFCRA and claim the corresponding tax credit, and claim the Employee Retention Credit within the software.
