ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) January 28, 2020
Orchid Medical (Orchid), one of the fastest-growing providers of ancillary medical management solutions in the workers’ compensation industry, today announced the expansion of its sales leadership team with the addition of Patty Mendez as vice president of national sales. A veteran in the workers’ compensation industry, Mendez is responsible for driving new program sales and leading organizational growth in the western United States.
Mendez brings over 25 years of expertise in ancillary services cost containment and sales leadership. Her sales career began at an ancillary services pioneer, Medical Services Company (MSC), where her vast product knowledge and results-oriented approach catalyzed her leadership opportunities, resulting in her rise to leading a sales team. Mendez then began her tenure with PMSI, where she served as vice president of sales, successfully increasing the organization’s client base and driving top line revenue.
“Patty brings an exceptional set of skills and knowledge of the workers’ compensation industry and a proven record in driving new business growth to our team,” said Tim Howlin, chief sales officer of Orchid Medical. “Patty now has a vital role in expanding our ancillary services footprint and I believe her drive and skill set will prove instrumental in our expansion throughout the Western United States and Orchid’s continued success.”
After the acquisition of PMSI to Optum, Mendez served as the vice president of corporate sales for Optum Workers’ Compensation Services and most recently, vice president of corporate sales at Rising Medical Solutions.
