This collection features a wide range of new designs that include a strong color palette, lots of texture and advanced tailoring details. Paul Stuart's Modern Country Gentleman group features bold plaids in bright colors, with a mix of materials that include shearling, leather, tweeds, and Shetland wools for color and texture. Auriemma has introduced the Philipp, a new jacket silhouette that features a soft shoulder construction with a higher armhole for a flattering fit.
The new outerwear styles feature technical fabrics that are wind and water-resistant. Auriemma has combined typical fall materials such as corduroy, cashmere, and wool with lightweight down and bonded seams to create coats and jackets that are equally stylish and warm. "These styles marry the DNA of Paul Stuart with modern fabrications," says Auriemma and "give the wearer the freedom to express their own individuality in technical outerwear."
For the Phineas Cole collection, Auriemma presents the Art Deco formal collection with a 1920's inspired tuxedo jacket that features a wider shawl shaped lapel. There's also a Phineas Cole logo crest on a turtleneck sweater, a twist on a classic tennis sweater in black with purple trim and a quilted jacket with a shawl collar trimmed in wool felt. In trousers, the Maxfield pant has a wider leg with 2 forward-facing pleats. Auriemma says, "It's how it's put together that makes it Phineas Cole." New ties here feature archival prints in a larger proportion that looks fresh and modern.
The Equestrian Collection from Phineas Cole features bold plaids reminiscent of horse blankets, double-breasted, patchwork Shetland wool sports jackets, suede-trimmed cashmere cardigans, and soft corduroy trousers. Standouts in this group include a multi-colored paisley printed corduroy suit and a number of matching cotton print shirt and silk tie combinations. Jackets feature a technically advanced construction method that eliminates the traditional canvas and shoulder pads making it light and comfortable for the wearer.
