Hastings To Lead Whip Media's Global Sales Strategy And Expand Company's Global Content Licensing Solutions Into New Markets

Whip Media, the leading enterprise software platform provider for global content licensing, announced today that Paul Hastings has been promoted to SVP of Global Sales, effective immediately. In this newly created role, he will lead the company’s global sales strategy and oversee the global sales team.

Most recently, Hastings served as Whip Media’s SVP of Sales, EMEA. Under his leadership, Whip Media grew its EMEA business by more than 100% YOY, adding some of the world’s largest content providers, broadcasters, and operators as customers including Magenta Telekom (a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary), Vodafone, and StudioCanal.

Hastings is a seasoned media and sales executive with more than 20 years of experience. He worked for 10 years in production at BBC Entertainment in the UK and most recently served as EVP Global Sales at Friend MTS, the global leader in channel and content security protection services.
