NEW YORK, March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- New for 2019, Paul Stuart is pleased to announce the launch of their fall 2019 footwear collection for men. For over 80 years, the company has been known around the world for its exceptional tailoring and luxurious materials. Now, that same obsession with fine fit and style is also available to men in their footwear choices.
This is the second collection by Javier Suarez, the Creative Director for footwear at Paul Stuart. Suarez comes to Paul Stuart from senior positions at international luxury brands such as Bally of Switzerland and Salvatore Ferragamo and brings a wealth of experience and a sophisticated taste level to these collections at Paul Stuart.
Suarez says, "I am inspired by fashion menswear, it's influences and the iconic stature of Paul Stuart as a true American brand. I am always considering the history of footwear while looking ahead to aesthetic and manufacturing trends for my designs. Having the flagship store so close by, allows me to design in a laboratory of sorts where I can see first hand what the customer is excited about."
Suarez presents the new, Galante double monk strap: an homage to Neapolitan artisanal shoe-making. A timeless style, reimagined with hand-stitched double-cross monk straps and an elegant burnished toe. For casual occassions, there's the sporty Game sneaker in both suede and calfskin leather.
Paulette Garafalo, CEO of Paul Stuart says, "With this new collection, the company continues to set the standard for luxury footwear. We offer a full array of choices from elegant evening wear to casual sneakers for every aspect of our customer's life. We are always looking ahead towards fashion and style trends but at the same time, we remain rooted in our legacy of time-honored craftsmanship."
Prices range from $450 for the Game calf leather slip-on sneaker to $895 for the Galante double monk strap shoe. The new styles will retail at select Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and Paul Stuart stores.
