Paving New Roads: Sterling Caviar Takes To Digital Highway To Educate, Entertain
On the heels of Independence Day celebrations, leading American producer to offer rights to education, entertainment, and the pursuit of great caviar via Facebook Live event, July 9, 2018
SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Founded in 1983, Sterling Caviar – America's pioneer and leader in sustainable sturgeon farming and sturgeon caviar production – will set the stage for National Caviar Day, July 18, by hosting a livestream event via Facebook at 5:00 p.m. PDT on Monday, July 9.
In an industry shrouded in myth and mystique whose history hasn't always included the most respectable of practices, how does today's caviar producer stand out? First, you make a great, sustainably-farmed sturgeon caviar, which Sacramento-based Sterling has been doing for 35 years. Second, you gain the trust of your customers by being inclusive and completely transparent about your methods and products. And lastly, you have a little fun. It's these last two goals which Sterling hopes to accomplish during its upcoming livestream event.
"There is a lot of misinformation out there about caviar in general – what it is; how it's produced; why it costs so much; et cetera," explains Camron King, President, Sterling Caviar. "We're looking forward to providing our livestream participants with education and entertainment during what we hope will be a casual, fun conversation."
Dubbed "Caviar Chat," Sterling's Facebook Live event will feature company spokesmen, Camron King, President, and Bobby Renschler, Vice President of Operations. The session will last 30 to 60 minutes during which time King and Renschler will discuss topics related to Sterling such as sustainable sturgeon farming and sturgeon caviar production. As an added bonus, the spokesmen will be sharing tasting tips for any participants who choose to sample Sterling's caviar while viewing.
"If you're new to caviar, this is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions and learn," says King. "And for those of you who are already familiar with caviar, this is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your knowledge."
As a complement to its live session, Sterling is currently offering a limited-supply caviar sampler, available for purchase from its website now through National Caviar Day, July 18. Perfect for caviar first-timers and enthusiasts alike, the "Experience Sterling Sampler" includes Sterling's three most popular grades – Classic, Royal, and Supreme – in the buyer's choice of 15g or 30g tin sizes, a custom tasting guide, one mother of pearl spoon, and one caviar tin opener. Cost is $105 for 15g sampler and $185 for 30g sampler.
There is no cost to participate in Sterling's upcoming Facebook Live Caviar Chat. To participate, simply visit Sterling Caviar Facebook at 5:00 p.m. PDT on Monday, July 9. Participants are encouraged to attend the session ready to ask questions, learn, and enjoy.
