Rancho Mirage, CA (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams today announced that the local real estate market is expecting a substantial boost thanks to the Paws and Hearts Annual Dog Walk set for November 29 in Rancho Mirage. The famous nonprofit organization is celebrating almost 15 years of service to a long list of world-class medical facilities located here in the Valley.
The venerable and community-based organization is located in Palm Desert and serves the entire Coachella Valley with their famous Canine Ambassadors. Seven days of the week their 45+ teams of Handlers and Canine Ambassadors make weekly treks to area hospitals and long-term care facilities including Cancer Centers, Alzheimer's facilities and senior citizen serving centers. These beautifully trained dogs serve as healers, sharing love and comfort to everyone they touch.
Schmett observed that, “Paws and Hearts is truly an amazing organization and one of the finest we have here in the area. The vast majority of my real estate clients are pet lovers, as is my wife Deanna and my daughter Jacqulyn. It is always a thrill on both a personal and professional level to support the work of this very special organization that provides therapeutic visits every day of the week to places like Eisenhower Medical Ctr., Desert Regional Medical Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center and so many more. This is the sort of pet inspired event that brings in luxury home buyers who want nothing less than a community that supports animal welfare and celebrates their importance.”
Registration is available online and the public is encouraged to attend and support this Pet Therapy Visitation Organization which was founded in December, 2000 by local resident, the late Lucky Waxman.
