LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Sept.13, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Peachtree Packaging & Display's design prowess was front and center at the 2021 Box Manufacturing Olympics (BMO), organized by the Independent Packaging Association (AICC) and held in Orlando, FL, August 8-12. Peachtree took home two Gold 1st place awards for its box designs and one Bronze 3rd place award.
Peachtree won awards in the following categories. It won a Gold 1st place award for "Innovative Structural Design" for its Mobis Parts America Bumper Box. It won a Gold 1st place award in "Direct Printing on Combined Brow Board - Line/Screen Combination" for its GEVEKO Markings Box, and it won a Bronze 3rd place award in "Structure - Floor Displays - Product" for its Bota Box Wine Camper Display.
Leading the judging efforts, BMO Chair Cordes Porcher noted that this was one of the most exciting and inspirational competitions he and his panel of judges have presided over. "An amazing array of talent was on display," he said. "It was no easy task to select the ultimate winners, but after careful – and time-intensive – deliberation, the winners can proudly display each honor knowing their work truly stands out on a global stage."
The 2021 Box Manufacturing Olympics is open to all folding carton, rigid box and corrugated manufacturers worldwide and includes the categories of structure, printing, combined techniques, digital, e-commerce and student. Thirty-three companies submitted 170 entries that were evaluated by 16 judges based on design, quality, graphic excellence, technical difficulty and innovative application, among other characteristics.
