Pearl River Resort Names New Director
Choctaw, MS (PRWEB) May 12, 2014 -- Pearl River Resort, the Southern United States’ first comprehensive luxury gaming resort, is pleased to announce the promotion of Erica Clemons Moore to Director of Public Relations, Internal Communications, and Special Projects. Moore has over nine years of progressive experience in marketing, public relations, and event budgeting and planning. She most recently served as Public Relations Manager at Pearl River Resort.
As manager of the department since August 2008, she has led the public relations team, creating a strategic and integrated communications program for both the public and the Resort’s nearly 3,000 employees. During her tenure, the Resort has gained national media attention from NBC’s The Biggest Loser, ABC’s Good Morning America, and over 80 national media outlets (online and offline) in the past year alone.
In her new role as Director of PR, IC & SP, Moore will be responsible for managing all media relations initiatives for the Resort properties consisting of three casinos, three hotels, two top ranked golf courses and a water park. She will oversee a team of writers, media specialists, and event planners. Moore will also oversee the Resort’s employee communication efforts and special projects which include community service, fundraisers, sponsorships, and media events.

Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in Public Relations from University of Southern Mississippi.
