Penta Technologies today announced it is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors inaugural Tech Alliance. The alliance is a consortium of firms that create construction technology and innovative digital solutions for ABC contractor members, the majority of which are classified as small businesses and primarily perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors. One of 13 Tech Alliance companies, Penta Technologies will provide technology solutions to fellow ABC members that develop people while winning and delivering work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which they operate.

“From the jobsite to the corner office, Penta’s passionate about bringing ABC members the tools and information they need to survive and thrive amidst the impacts of both 1) the global pandemic and 2) the parallel acceleration of technological disruption are having on the construction industry,” said Penta president Bill Wagner.

In particular, the Tech Alliance will introduce small- and mid-sized contractors and subcontractors to construction technology solutions such as STRUXI, Penta’s next generation construction labor productivity toolset. Tech Alliance companies will also collaborate on resources for ABC members, including beta testing, free technology programs and educational webinars.

“The need for technological solutions — both big and small — in the construction industry is clear, especially given changing work conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Matt Abeles, ABC’s vice president of construction technology and innovation. “I look forward to the exceptional products, education and dialogue Penta Technologies and the rest of the Tech Alliance will bring to ABC members and our evolving industry, especially as we continue to implement technology to revolutionize the design, build and delivery process.
