PALO ALTO, Calif. (PRWEB) April 24, 2019
People Power, the Internet of Things (IoT) software company providing custom branded services for senior care, security and energy management, today announces that David Moss, the company’s CTO, President and Co-founder, will share People Power’s vision for smart home solutions that provide caregiver assistance for persons with Alzheimer’s disease at the Dementia Action Collaborative in Lacey, Washington, on April 24, 2019. The Collaborative guides and supports the implementation of the Washington State plan to address Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
The full-day interactive meeting will highlight priorities and efforts that influence recommendations for the Washington State plan. Joining experts from state and national enterprises, David Moss will provide an overview of People Power’s three-year research grant from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) focused on in-home supportive solutions for dementia caregivers. The results of People Power’s collaborative research with University of California, Berkeley Psychophysiology Laboratory and Professor Dr. Robert W. Levenson have produced critical information about how connected in-home services can best administer assistance and peace of mind to caregivers actively involved in providing care for a family member with dementia.
