Coachella Valley Volkswagen was acquired by Nouri/Shaver Automotive Group in 2016. The dealership group is led by Co-Owners Bob Nouri and Pete Shaver, and CEO Armina Mgerian. The group currently operates 16 franchised dealerships in California and Oregon. In 2022, Nouri/Shaver Automotive Group generated over $2 billion in revenue and currently employs over 2,000 individuals.

PATH Auto Group was recently established in March of 2023 by Phil Alalouf and Todd Hewitt. Alalouf is a self-made automotive industry professional with over 30 years of experience. Alalouf began his career as a Finance Manager for Volkswagen of Canada in 1990, and most recently worked as Managing Partner for Foundation Automotive Corporation before establishing PATH Auto Group. Coachella Valley Volkswagen is PATH Auto Group's first acquisition, and the group already has promising plans for expansion underway.
