PFI Advisors (“Pure Financial Independence”) announced today that the firm will be offering a new breakaway service geared toward a different segment of financial advisors seeking Independence. Since its launch in 2015, PFI Advisors has offered full transition services to billion-dollar breakaway advisors leaving a wirehouse or bank environment for the RIA channel. This new service will be offered to Affiliated Advisors that have some experience running a business but are looking to take the final step toward Pure Financial Independence.
Affiliated Advisors are most often associated with an independent broker dealer, regional broker dealer, platform provider, corporate RIA, or have a larger parent firm managing certain aspects of their business that they would like to gain control over. “These advisors typically don’t need our full breakaway services. They often have their own office space secured as well as a competent operations team in place to handle the day-to-day running of an independent firm,” says Matt Sonnen, Founder & CEO of PFI Advisors. “We have designed our Affiliated Advisors breakaway offering to focus solely on providing: (1) support in building out and integrating systems specific to their new RIA and (2) guidance throughout their client transition process.”
In building out an advisor’s RIA infrastructure, PFI Advisors will work to ensure the advisor can offer the same products and services they have provided clients throughout their career and have the proper tools in place to deliver them. PFI Advisors also offers support before, during, and/or after an advisor’s resignation day, working closely with the advisor’s new custodian to process account paperwork and ensure end clients the smoothest transition possible to the new firm.
