Philips Water Brings Hi-Tech Solution to Improve the Way We Consume Water on the Go

The latest innovation from Philips Water Solutions uses the power of light to keep your bottle clean, safe, and always ready to go

"We're very excited about the GoZero Smart Bottle, as it gives people a convenient new way to enjoy clean, safe water on the go," said Alex Rishoj, CEO of Aquashield.

AquaShield, a global brand partner of health technology company Philips, is launching an innovative new self-cleaning water bottle that uses the power of UV-C LED light to both clean water and sanitize the bottle itself. The Philips GoZero Smart Bottle is the second entry under the new Philips GoZero label launched just this past October in North America.

Embodying GoZero's mission of helping consumers sustainably enjoy clean, refreshing drinking water on the go from both tap and natural sources, the GoZero Smart Bottle takes a high-tech approach that is unique from most filtered hydration products that leverage physical consumable filter media that need to be replaced regularly.

The GoZero Smart bottle features UV-C LED technology integrated into the cap of the bottle and activated at the touch of a button. Within minutes, the LED light eliminates up to 99.999% bacteria and 99.9% viruses from water, allowing users to enjoy fresh, clean water from virtually any source*.

Additionally, the bottle's UV-C LED light can also disinfect the bottle itself after use - whether you're drinking water, coffee, tea, juice, soda, or other beverages - cleaning the hardest-to-reach corners of the interior to eliminate foul odors, prevent bacterial build-up, and refresh the bottle for a refill.

"We're very excited about the GoZero Smart Bottle, as it gives people a convenient new way to enjoy clean, safe water on the go," said Alex Rishoj, CEO of Aquashield. "As the latest addition to our rapidly-growing lineup, the Smart Bottle is perfect for people who want to use a single bottle for all of their hydration needs throughout the day, whether they're drinking tea at home, coffee at work, or water while out on an adventure."

The GoZero Smart Bottle is designed to be intuitively easy to use. The bottle's high-tech cap features an LED light ring that indicates when the bottle is clean and ready to use. This indicator ring also displays the bottle's battery life. When it's time to charge, simply attach the included magnetic USB cable to the cap and use it for up to 30-days before having to plug it back in. Constructed of a double-walled, insulated food-grade stainless steel, the bottle is dishwasher safe and can keep liquids hot for 12 hours and cold for up to 24 hours.

The self-cleaning GoZero Smart Bottle will be available on Amazon starting November 30, 2020, and will come in two different sizes - 12 oz. and 20 oz. - and four designer colors - black, grey, yellow, and blue. The 12 oz. bottle will retail for $69.99, while the 20 oz. version will sell for $74.99. The GoZero Smart Bottle joins the brand's other product offering, the Philips GoZero Active Bottle, on Amazon. The GoZero Active Bottle features a unique interchangeable filtration system consisting of two complementary filters for different scenarios - one for reducing impurities from tap water and another for cleaning water from natural sources.
