Photo and Video Contest Highlights the Importance of Composting and Offers a Chance to Win Over $5000 in Prizes
In celebration of International Compost Awareness Week (May 3-8), sustainability champion Arbor Teas announces its first ever photo and video contest, entitled "Can You Dig It?", with over $5,000 in prizes.

You guessed it, this contest highlights one of Arbor Teas' favorite things - composting!
According to the US Environmental Protection Agency almost 20% of what goes into municipal landfills is food. Much of this organic waste can be diverted from the landfill and composted instead. Composting not only reduces the amount of waste going to landfills, but produces something that is good for the Earth.
In 2010, Arbor Teas was the first tea company to begin packing its full line of organic loose leaf teas and herbs in backyard compostable packaging, offering a sustainable no-waste alternative to its customers. They believe composting plays an important role in keeping the planet healthy and want to celebrate it with you.
Submit your best photo or video representing the theme "Composting at Home" for a chance to win over $5000 worth of prizes. Arbor Teas challenges you to find the beauty in composting. Get down and dirty, be creative, joyful, or scientific, and most of all have fun.

Entry Format: Single photo, less than 10 MB
- First Prize: $1500 + 1 year's worth of tea
- Second Prize: $750 + 1 year's worth of tea
- Third Prize: $250 + 1 year's worth of tea
Video Award
Theme: Composting at Home
Entry Format: Video, 3-30 seconds long, less than 100 MB
- First Prize: $1500 + 1 year's worth of tea
- Second Prize: $750 + 1 year's worth of tea
- Third Prize: $250 + 1 year's worth of tea
Can You Dig It? Photo & Video Contest is open for entries beginning May 3, 2020 and remains open all summer long (throughout the best months to compost). The contest closes September 30, 2020. Each participant may submit up to 5 entries. Arbor Teas products and packaging do not need to be represented in submissions.
