Costumed-contestants will slay their pumpkins with tools of the lumberjack trade during the famous Fremont Oktoberfest Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving Contest. Winners are chosen by the audience applause-o-meter.
Fremont Oktoberfest started in 1997 and is Seattle's longest running and largest beer festival. Putting its own Fremont twist on the Bavarian tradition, Fremont Oktoberfest pairs 100 craft beers sampled in 5oz Mini Mugs along with big Steins & Boots filled to the brim with Germany's finest brews.
