PhUSE Announces Inspirational Keynotes for their 2015 Annual Conference

Following keynote speeches from Dr. Pritpal Tamber in 2014, Dr. Ben Goldacre in 2013, Charles Sabine in 2012 and Professor Lord Winston in 2011, PhUSE again presents inspirational speakers to talk about relevant topics for clincal data science
Previously a Lawyer, after being diagnosed with the degenerative disease Parkinson's in 2008, Alex Flynn set himself a '10 million meters' challenge. He has completed the grueling Marathon des Sables (250km race across the Sahara Desert); run in excess of 135 miles across Bavarian Alps; and run from London to Rome in 30 days to meet the Pope. John Sall is a co-founder and Executive Vice President of SAS, leading the development of JMP, serving scientists and engineers with an easy-to-use graphically interactive statistical software. John is a fellow of both the American Statistical Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science; he is also an elected member of the International Statistical Institute.
Simon Weston headed out to the Falklands War in 1982 unknown, and returned following the bombing of the Sir Galahad recognised by the world; not for the 46% burns he endured, but for the optimism he radiates. Simon's message is one of single-minded determination, to not only accept what is, but to turn that to your advantage; his own career demonstrating how a positive mental attitude can achieve great business goals.
At their annual conference in Vienna, PhUSE will have a different keynote speaker everyday. With a diverse mix of patient centric and industry related speakers PhUSE offers great insight into the thoughts of industry influencers to help shape the industry.
This year the PhUSE annual conference will take place October 11th to 14th at the Intercontinental Wien in Vienna. The conference is themed “Clinical Data Science” another hot topic of the industry.
