Phynd Technologies, Inc. Signs Three Large Health Systems to Growing Client Family
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 26, 2016 -- Phynd Technologies, Inc. announced recently the signing of three new health systems, bringing the total number of physicians under management of Phynd’s platform to over one quarter million. The new clients are: Premier Health, Dayton, OH; Duke University Health System, Durham, NC and Children’s Health, Dallas, TX.
Premier Health, headquartered in Dayton, OH, with five hospitals located throughout Ohio’s Miami Valley, has 2,300 credentialed and 20,000 referring physicians; Duke University Health System has 3,600 credentialed and 20,000 referring physicians; and Children’s Health has 1,600 credentialed and 20,000 referring physicians.
Phynd, pronounced “find,” provides clients with a Unified Provider Management (UPM) Platform that enables healthcare organizations to unify, manage, customize, and share essential provider information across their core IT systems. The company’s single, accurate source for provider information speeds up billing, optimizes the revenue cycle, streamlines workflow, improves productivity, and enhances care coordination enterprise-wide.
Phynd serves as the information hub for all provider information and shares mission-critical provider data across a health system’s core clinical and financial systems, including their EHR system. As health systems grow their provider data will be immediately accessible and usable within new facilities and partnerships, helping them remain ahead of the data curve.
Hospital provider communities are constantly changing; 2.4 percent of all providers change addresses or other contact information every month. Without a Unified Provider Management (UPM) Platform, there is no way to handle the almost impossible task of managing this provider data.
A minor change to a provider’s physical address, communication devices, sanctions and identity management has an enormous effect on any healthcare organization’s operation, including:
• Billing and revenue cycle delays which impact cash flow
• Referral management which can create patient leakage and out-network referrals from the organization and their plan
• Care coordination which can cause poor transitions of care leading to increased clinical risks
• Risk management compliance which can generate legal challenges
“Hospital do not have a single trusted source of provider data. Lacking that source, it is extremely difficult to ensure that provider information is accurate and robust across the numerous internal and third party systems where this information appears. Currently, provider data is contained in a number of disparate systems across the health system, including: the EHR, credentialing, referral management, marketing/customer relation management systems, content management, and several others. None of these provides a “complete” profile of a provider, and frequently these multiple systems contain overlapping and often conflicting data. Phynd’s platform gives clients the opportunity to solve these long-standing and systemic issues related to provider information,” explained Tom White, CEO of Phynd Technologies.
“We are pleased with our company’s sustained growth momentum, and look forward to helping other hospitals and health systems improve their provider information, productivity and care coordination,” White added.
