PIC Honours Mark E. Tucker, Group Chairman, HSBC Holdings plc, with Lifetime Achievement Award

Tucker, Group Chairman, HSBC Holdings plc, will be the recipient of the PIC Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes Mr. Tucker for the contributions he's made to the industry throughout his distinguished career. Mr. Tucker will receive his award during the 29th PIC held 17 to 20 November 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

Tucker, Group Chairman, HSBC Holdings plc, will be the recipient of the PIC Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes Mr. Tucker for the contributions he's made to the industry throughout his distinguished career. Mr. Tucker will receive his award during the 29th PIC held 17 to 20 November 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
Mr. Tucker has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry in Asia, the United States and the United Kingdom, including 25 years based in Hong Kong. He assumed his current role as non-executive Group Chairman of HSBC Holdings in Oct. 2017. Prior to that, he was Group Chief Executive and President of AIA Group Limited (AIA). He joined AIA in July 2010 and spearheaded its record-breaking initial public offering in Hong Kong in October 2010. Under Mr. Tucker's leadership, AIA became the second largest life insurance company in the world.

The presentation of the award to Mr. Tucker caps off the first two full days of the PIC conference where industry executives from around the globe will gather to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing of life, health, retirement savings, and wealth management businesses, particularly in the Pacific Rim area.
