PickFu's Small Business Grant helps Sean Rosensteel launch his book successfully

I'm officially obsessed with PickFu. If you poll your network on social media or just take a guess, you'll find yourself riddled with doubt. And that's no way to launch a book you've just worked so hard to write and publish.

COVID-19 wreaked havoc on Sean Rosensteel's consulting business. As the economic downturn caused clients to tighten their belts, Rosensteel turned his attention to finishing his first book. He quickly learned that launching a book is not as simple as "just write and publish." Through planning, writing, editing, and promoting, he faced unforeseen challenges and stressful choices.

As he navigated the publishing process, Rosensteel discovered PickFu, a market research tool that helps writers make better-informed decisions. First, he asked 50 non-fiction readers between the ages of 25 and 54 to rank six potential titles. Then, he asked 50 non-fiction readers in his targeted age range who also read at least one book per month to rank six potential subtitles. After his first few PickFu polls, Sean settled on the title "The School of Intentional Living: A Real-World Approach to Living Life on Your Terms."

As Rosensteel says, "If you poll your network on social media or just take a guess, you’ll find yourself riddled with doubt. And that’s no way to launch a book you’ve just worked so hard to write and publish.” Instead, PickFu helps collect valuable input from target readers before a book launches. Their feedback will refine and improve a book's marketing. Sean says he's "officially obsessed" with PickFu and can't wait to use it for ad copy and designs to keep promoting the book.

Since launching on July 21, Rosensteel's book has become a #1 Amazon bestseller across five categories, including Men's Personal Spiritual Growth.
