MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Dec. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Piola (piolausa.com) announced the opening of its newest location in Hollywood, FL., with a second new restaurant planned for Miami Beach in April 2021, bringing its total number of locations in South Florida to eight and 10 in the United States.
The Italian-based restaurant franchise has juggled the COVID-19 impact, adjusting its menu, adding specials and switching business hours all to keep the popular eatery relevant with customers during closures, lockdowns and business slowdowns. In fact, Piola's now widely popular $7 Pizza Day, which launched in the spring and is a customer favorite, might be here to stay.

Carniato opened Piola Hollywood at 4961 Sheridan St., to big crowds in November, thanks to a week of free pizzas – 1,000 to be exact. The location features fast casual dining (where customers order at the register) and a menu focused on the company's famous made-to-order artisanal pizzas (famosi per la pizza).
Piola Mid Beach at the Hampton Inn Hotel at 4000 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach is under construction and will open in April 2021. Like the Hollywood location, the new restaurant will showcase casual dining and Piola's Neapolitan-style pizza.
Carniato says the two locations are a slight departure from its traditional sit-down restaurants in South Florida and Houston, Texas.
"We realized that customers' needs have changed" he said. "They want the dine-experience, but they also want faster service."
