The Piranha GI device was designed and developed by Dr. Robert Ganz, an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, and Emeritus Chief of Gastroenterology at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Dr. Ganz holds several patents in the field of medicine and is a pioneer in the gastroenterology field of medicine.
