Pittsburgh-Based Krakoff Communications Adds Mary Malone to Its Team

Mary Malone joins public relations firm Krakoff Communications as an Account Assistant.

Krakoff Communications, Inc. (KCI) has hired Mary Malone as Account Assistant.

A Pittsburgh native, Mary graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. While attending Syracuse, she was a runner on the school’s NCAA DIV. I cross country and track teams.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Krakoff Communications team,” Malone said. “Working with a proven team is a great opportunity to grow as a public relations professional. My communications experience and skills learned during my time at Syracuse and other agency experiences have prepared me to support KCI’s mission.”

Mary previously served as a public relations intern for men’s performance dress shoe company Wolf & Shepherd, where she led a campaign garnering national press coverage for the brand during its launch. She also interned for California-based creative agency Wicked+ where she worked on a variety of client projects in media relations, blog writing and campaign development.
