AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 7, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- World Vaccine Congress, the leading vaccine conference in the United States, went virtual this year. With thousands of attendees, this global vaccine event is known to provide the most exciting news on vaccine development in the USA featuring Dr. Fauci as a 2020 keynote speaking along with various other industry leaders.
Platinum Research Network took home a glowing achievement winning the Best Clinical Trial Network Award. While they were not able to celebrate in person this year, PRN managed to bring over 25 members to the virtual conference. Many others were busy working steadfast on various COVID research trials. "We appreciate that the industry chose to continue to celebrate and recognize achievements within the calendar year despite the pandemic and extra effort put forth by staff members," says Jason Roth VP of Platinum Research Network. "We scaled up for the work associated with this pandemic by increasing our investigator, clinical and QA teams by 60%. We are proud of our growth as industry leaders."
Within Platinum Research Network is Meridian Clinical Research, which is the largest member represented in the organization. They walked away with Best Clinical Trial Site Award which acknowledges their groundbreaking research within the vaccine space. Nicole Osborn states, "It's incredible to earn these awards when vaccine trials are the industry's priority and so visible in the public spotlight," Meridian founder and CEO. "It reaffirms the quality of work our investigators and staff put forward every day, and the trust we've established with leading vaccine developers." Ventavia Research of PRN was also nominated in this category. No other network site awards were available.
These awards were based on two rounds of voting and ultimately judged by a scientific advisory board. Vaccine researchers are working harder than ever on filling these Covid vaccine studies, and PRN is leading the way via virtual conferences and meetings. "World Vaccine Congress will be unveiling itself virtually in Europe in next two weeks and Platinum Research Network will be exhibiting there as well. This provides an avenue to meet with our European counterparts during a time when travel restrictions prevent us from gathering in person." says Jason. "All of the companies in our network have worked so hard this year. It's great to see our network recognized at this difficult time in our nation's history."
Jason Roth and PRN members are available for interview via phone or various other online platforms. Please reach out if you have any inquiries about Platinum Research Network's capabilities, or if you're interested in collaborating.
