Database updated consistently to make grant searching relevant and easy

While there are a variety of funding research websites available, none have ever concentrated solely on a list of resources that have funded play and recreation projects until now.

Part of PlayCore’s mission is to help connect communities to the funds and other resources they need to make their dream play and/or recreation space a reality. While there are a variety of funding research websites available, none have ever concentrated solely on a list of resources that have funded play and recreation projects until now. The PlayCore Grant Tool is an online searchable database to help searchers locate funding for play and recreation projects. The database is searchable by US, Canadian, and Global grants, as well as by state or area of interest (i.e aquatics, play, fitness, inclusion, etc.) In addition, the tool provides a list of links to additional websites that provide helpful grant search tools, access to funds, and fundraising news, as well as grant writing resources to help illustrate the fundamentals of writing a grant, and tips on how to get a proposal noticed.

Database users can download a report of relevant grants or share the link to their list with others on their grant search team. Each grant in the database provides a summary of the grant’s mission, an estimate of total funds available, and a link to visit the grant site directly, so that interested parties can contact each funder directly for specific questions, deadlines, and eligibility requirements. The tool can be found at https://www.playcore.com/funding
